SUMMER ANALYST

Acquisitions & Development
WESTPORT, CT (HYBRID)  ·  JUNE – AUGUST 2027  ·  TEN WEEKS  ·  FULL-TIME, PAID

THE SEAT

REMAP is hiring its first Summer Analyst to work directly with the founder on acquisitions and development. You will work every deal REMAP touches, from underwriting to closing, and own the analysis that decides them. The work is unrelenting: finance, law, land use, design, engineering, construction, marketing, branding, and software in a single day, at a velocity most have never sustained. The seat requires a polymath's range, superior intellect, and a rate of learning to match.

DEFINE THE ERA

REMAP is a privately held owner, operator, and developer of mission-critical real estate and infrastructure in high-barrier urban markets. We are making zero-emission autonomy inevitable by building the physical infrastructure it demands. We build landmarks that change how cities run. Aesthetics are ethics: what we build tells a city what we think its people deserve. Every great age speaks through its monuments. We build for the next hundred years.

How we work is set out at /careers; how we think, at /news-insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Summer Analyst is a member of the deal team, working across acquisitions, development, and asset management on real estate, infrastructure, and energy ventures.

Underwriting. Build and maintain detailed financial underwriting models for acquisitions, ground-up development, and clean energy infrastructure; analyze operating budgets, historical and current financial statements, and property tax and insurance projections.

Development. Support development from site acquisition through entitlement, design, construction, and asset management.

Investment materials. Assist in drafting offering memoranda, deal memoranda, and presentations for debt and equity capital raising.

Municipal. Manage municipal submissions, zoning approvals, tax abatements, and economic development financing applications.

Proposals. Draft responses to public and private requests for proposals, meeting every technical requirement and making the firm's case.

Branding. Shape project positioning, brand identity, and sales and leasing strategy for new developments.

Technology. Advance the firm's proprietary technology platform with AI tools and automated workflows across data, research, and internal process.

QUALIFICATIONS

The standard is uncommon intellectual rigor, absolute integrity, and the raw agency to force vision into reality.

Eligibility. A current undergraduate or graduate student.

Communication. Articulate in speech and in writing; writes with superior clarity, precision, and economy.

Teamwork. Collaborates across groups and works alone with equal ease; owns and manages tasks end to end.

Agency. A high sense of ownership; identifies what needs doing and executes without waiting for direction. Has started, built, led, or finished something no one assigned.

Agility. Runs several projects with competing priorities at once, thrives at speed, and prioritizes ruthlessly.

Analytical. Quantitative and fluent in Excel; builds an underwriting model from a blank workbook, or has the aptitude to learn within a week.

Precision. Zero-defect thinking; rigorous, accurate, and disciplined in analysis and execution.

AI Native. At home in AI tools; has built something with a coding agent, or could in an afternoon. No formal coding background required; an appetite to learn is.

Curiosity. Deeply fascinated by the physical world: land, zoning, engineering, construction, and how cities evolve.

Integrity. Direct, honest, and accountable; operates with maximum transparency.

Hungry. Passionate about real estate, energy, and transportation; brings an entrepreneurial mind and an unrivaled work ethic.

Grit. An indomitable will to execute, whatever the obstacle.

HOW TO APPLY

Email careers@remapinfra.com

Use the subject line "Summer Analyst." Include your résumé and a note of no more than 200 words, outcome first, on the hardest thing you have built or done. If you have made something with an AI coding tool, include it as is.

No cover letter. The founder reads every application; the seat closes when filled. The interview process consists of a modeling exercise, a writing exercise, and a conversation.

REMAP is an equal opportunity employer. If you need an accommodation to apply, please state so in your email.
